In Sweden, where the client (sisters: Anna and Josefin) originate, sweets are still common treats for adults as well as children, and the client wanted to bring a part of this culture to London. Barber Design was approached to create the SugarSin shop concept visuals and worked closely with the client to bring their dream of owning a sweets shop in the trendy Covent Garden area to reality.

Barber created the concept for the new business which secured the site in a highly sought-after area of London. Feature elements include black and white striped flooring, hanging glass bubbles, harlequin wall tile patterns and rope-like pillars. The use of strong bold colours on the exaggerated tables and fixtures within the design create a larger than life look with a fun contemporary feel. We then produced and supplied a detailed drawing pack for the client to give to their contractors to build from.

A bright, unique, fun and friendly store that creates an inviting atmosphere helping showcase the irresistible product. SugarSin is a contemporary, colourful wonderland with a touch of fantasy and magic which has now also been replicated online with their fantastic Barber designed and built e-commerce website. www.SugarSin.co.uk
