Heatons – a new retail space design by Barber in Ireland
Here are a few snaps and retail visuals of another retail space design that we have been working on for Heatons stores in Ireland – this launched yesterday (October 2nd) and we haven’t had any official photos taken yet so here are some snaps of the retail store interior ready to go and some of the retail space design visuals that we supplied to Heatons during the project.
The retailer has created 55 new jobs as it opened it’s new store at the Northside Shopping Centre in Dublin yesterday. The chain now employs more than 2,000 people at a total of 53 stores in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This new €1m retail space has both a dedicated SportsWorld floor, alongside the fashion, homewares, textiles and toys usually associated with the Heatons brand, as a spokesperson for Heaton’s explains:
“Over the past 67 years, Heatons as a brand has gone from strength to strength and we are delighted to say that this growth continues even in a difficult climate.”
The store who are one of Ireland’s largest chains of department stores are best known for their great value ranges of both own-brand fashion, footwear and toiletries alongside well-known brands. They trade under the strapline ‘expect more, pay less’ and Barber’s brief was to communicate this throughout the branded areas of the store and the customer experience design.
We’ll have more pictures to put up here on the blog soon once the store is up and running along with some feedback on how this new retail space design is working out for Heatons – so watch this space to see more!
