Barber Design to appear at the VM and Display Show 2015
As mentioned in our other recent blog post we are excited to be appearing at a number of interesting industry shows and trade fairs next year. The VM and Display Show takes place on the 21st-23rd April at the Business Design Centre in London. It is the longest running show of it’s kind and next year will be an extra special event as they will be celebrating their 25th birthday.
The show sets the standard for other similar industry exhibitions to follow – with something for everyone – whether they are retail designers, retailers or use any kind of visual merchandising to promote their products of services. The vast array of stands includes mannequins, print designers, props, retail designers, graphic designers, lighting, fabrics and display materials – offering a great opportunity for retailers to meet all of their suppliers under one roof – or make new contacts and connections within the industry.
The three-day event brings together a mix of new and returning exhibitors, showcasing newproducts and ideas with retail trends and cutting edge technology designed to attract and engage consumers and enhance the customer experience. The 2015 exhibition will be larger than ever with displays extended to fill the gallery bays in the Business Design Centre and incorporating some very special features such as the ‘designers network’. To mark the 25th anniversary, the show will also play host to a glitzy industry party on the centre’s rooftop gardens.
Andrew Colclough, the show organiser describes how the plans for next year’s event are beginning to take shape:
“We want to celebrate our 25th anniversary with style. The 2014 show had some of our most creative stands yet. Visitor numbers increased again, which showed us that this is the right time to expand the show. More than 80 per cent of 2014 exhibitors have already re-booked and we firmly believe 2015 will offer our best show yet.”
