Re-positioning retail for the cruise line

Project Summary

We were appointed by Harding Brothers to create a request for proposal document to present to Norwegian Cruise Lines, for the on board sales programme for general merchandise and jewellery.

Project Details

This proposal was significant in that it presented a new approach to on-board retail, focusing on luxury and high-end department store concepts, elevating the service proposition for two new build flagship cruise ships: The Norwegian Escape and the Norwegian Bliss. We produced an expansive document covering detailed research and inspiration from contemporary luxury retail environments, on-board store concept visuals, proposals for own-brand point of sale and in store graphics, an on-board magazine and a duty free website. Additionally, the document itself had to encompass all of the relevant information pertaining to a tender proposal inclusive of the financial and operational proposal; company policy; resource and credibility documents and a detailed revenue generation strategy.
