New branding and experience for luxury homewares

Having successfully rolled out stores globally for the parent company Hästens Sängar, Barber were asked to develop a new luxury brand language and retail experience for the premium Swedish bed retailer Hästens.

The revised concept design was created for the latest store that serviced the wealthy areas of Hong Kong. It was important to reflect the history and luxurious aspects of the brand whilst also maintaining its modern proposition. A detailed design pack was created which included photorealistic visuals of the first store, design and standard detail drawings. These were to aid construction of the first and proceeding stores plus ensuring they adhered to Hästens exacting standards. A flagship store was created in central Hong Kong to showcase the high quality handmade product. The luxurious concept has been rolled out in Qingdao, Shenzhen, Hangzhou and Dubai to name a few.
