Abercrombie & Fitch, Cheshire

Working with the team in Ohio, we brought to life the latest brand vision and implemented a modern new store design.

Barber was briefed to take the existing brand and retail guidelines and use these as a basis for developing an exciting new site at the Cheshire Oaks Shopping Village.

We surveyed the proposed location, reporting back on-site conditions. We then designed various layouts and planning options before agreeing on the best layouts for the location. 

Working with the A&F team in Ohio and utilising the global design guidelines for finishes, signage, brand application and essential design features, once our planning had been signed off we went straight into Construction Design Phase, producing detailed base drawings, engineering drawings and structural drawings. Following this drawing pack, we then designed full tender documentation for contractors and produced  ‘As Built’ drawings once the store had been fitted out.

As Barber are experienced in the Project Management of store fit-outs and rollouts, we also organised building permits and completed various construction administration tasks. 

 The result is a cleaner and more contemporary store that is also inclusive in approach, appealing to a wider target market. The brand is reconnecting with shoppers of all ages and this new store with such a fresh, premium palette brings A&F to the fore.
