Sweet and bright

In Sweden, where the client originates, sweets are still common treats for adults as well as children. Barber Design was approached by Sugarsin to bring a part of this culture to London.

We worked closely with the client to create the SugarSin store concept in highly sought-after Covent Garden. We designed a bright, unique and fun store with an inviting atmosphere to showcase the irresistible product. We then produced and supplied a detailed drawing pack for the client to give to their contractors to build from. The use of strong bold colours on the exaggerated tables and fixtures within the design created a larger than life look with a fun contemporary feel. Feature elements include black and white striped flooring, hanging glass bubbles, harlequin wall tile patterns and rope-like pillars. SugarSin is a contemporary, colourful wonderland with a touch of fantasy and magic which has now also been replicated online with their fantastic Barber designed and built e-commerce website.
